Kelsey Garber: A History
Born and raised in Missouri, Kelsey grew up in a small town called Hale and attended Tina-Avalon School, kindergarten through senior year. Back in these days, she dedicated most of her time to athletics, mainly basketball and softball. She enjoyed school and graduated top of her class, but she was ready to try something new in the next chapter of her life.
For secondary education, Kelsey went to Missouri Western State University and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and Cinema. She dove headfirst into the whirlwind world of entertainment, being heavily involved in stage productions, film sets, and the Alpha Psi Omega theatre fraternity. Eventually she became president of the Griffon Film Society. It was through this college journey that she discovered her love of storytelling.
After graduating, she began her theatre career as a carpentry intern, traveling widely for her work, from Nashville, Tennessee, to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and then all the way to Phoenix, Arizona. She loved the experiences she gained from her travels, but during her adventures she finally decided to pursue her true passion.
Kelsey has moved to North Carolina to be near her family as chase her dream of becoming a published author.
